Dr. Kimball grew up on the central coast of California where she developed her love for animals by raising goats, riding horses, and walking dogs. After graduating from Cal Poly in 2016, she completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine in Glasgow, Scotland. She spent her first year out of vet school. After an exciting year at a mixed animal practice in rural eastern Oregon, Dr. Kimball and her fiance moved to Colorado in 2021. She joined the South Mesa team as a relief vet in 2022 and finally signed her contract for a full time position with us!
Dr. Kimball enjoys hiking, camping, knitting, napping with her Collie cross Jack, and running with her German Shorthaired Pointer Boe. Her second passion is music, and spends hours every week teaching fiddle, playing piano, and pretending to play the banjo.
